  • Ensure technical changes are appropriately documented and communicated.
Continuous Improvement & Root Cause Analysis:
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, workflow, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Apply structured problem-solving and root cause analysis to recurring production and product concerns.
  • Develop engineering solutions that address underlying causes rather than temporary symptoms.
  • Lead or support implementation of corrective and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply continuous improvement principles such as 5S, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and statistical process control where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and other departments to evaluate and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor implemented changes to confirm they achieve the intended results.
  • Support initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, downtime, and unnecessary manufacturing costs.
Manufacturing Technology & Special Projects:
  • Support or lead technical projects involving new equipment, manufacturing technologies, processes, and production capabilities.
  • Participate in equipment and process evaluations to determine technical feasibility and manufacturing value.
  • Support prototyping and development activities for new products, manufacturing methods, and production capabilities.
  • Develop project criteria, scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and technical requirements for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, equipment suppliers, and external technical resources as required.
  • Support the introduction and implementation of new machines, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential challenges, and communicate updates to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Follow projects through implementation to ensure objectives and deliverables are completed.
Engineering Documentation & Change Control:
  • Maintain accurate engineering drawings, CAD models, bills of materials, manufacturing documentation, and other technical information.
  • Ensure current and approved technical information is available to Production.
